This Wheel Throwing course is a five day, 2 and half hours once a week hands-on pottery wheel throwing workshop for beginners and improvers. With expert guidance from Sue and with a maximum of 2 people, you’ll get plenty of personal tuition as you learn to throw pots and bowls.
What’s included:
- One-to-one style teaching in a very small class
- Covering all the steps to make bowls, jugs and cups
- Learn how to wedge clay to achieve smooth consistent clay to throw with
- Trim your pieces using a Giffin grip ( or try it the old fashioned way )
- Learn how to make and attach handles and other embellishments
- Clay
Your ceramics will be ready to collect in 3–4 weeks (shipping available at extra cost).
Bring an apron and an old towel; and having short nails is easier.
Refunds Policy
- If you cancel your booking more than two weeks before the workshop - 100% Refund
- If you cancel your booking more than five days before but less than two weeks before the workshop - 50% Refund, but if we are able to sell your spot then we will give you a 100% refund
- If you cancel less than five days before the workshop then no refund,
In the event that we are unable to run the workshop then we will give you a 100% refund and offer a rebooking on a different date
